The family of a local man who was killed during an undercover operation plans to move forward with a march on Saturday in his honor. Last night, gathers lighted candles in honor of 20 year old Javonta Darden’s life. His sister and father addressed the crowd. Everyone then marched around Bethel Church homes. The sister says she wants justice for her brother. Darden was shot on Winterville Road Tuesday evening. An ATF agent was also shot and is still hospitalized. 21 year old Steven McKinley is being held without bond at Athens Clarke County jail. He is being charged with murder and aggravated assault and possibly facing federal charges.
