Athens Clarke County TSPLOST Budget

Athens Clarke County approved  $5-6 million dollars for the TSPLOST budget.  Georgia law allows communities to use the Transportation Special Purpose Local Sales Tax (TSPLOST) for transportation purposes if approved by voters. The Athens-Clarke county Police Department says the F-B-I has reported more than 200 active shooting situations in America since the year 2000.
