Post Election Stress

While some UGA students are joining other groups across the country in protest, there’s one thing they aren’t doing. They aren’t seeking university counseling like students at some other schools. Kristine Groft, a Public Relations Coordinator for the the University of Georgia Health Center, said Thursday that the Center has yet to have students request counseling after the election. Online video reportedly shows Agnes Kim talking for first time after horrific spring accident

ATLANTA — A video posted on a crowdfunding website Monday reportedly shows UGA student Agnes Kim talking for the first time after a deadly car accident in in April. According to posts on the site, Kim was in a coma for more than a month after the accident and is currently undergoing care at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. More Suspicious Activity in the Miller Learning Center

UGA’s Miller Learning Center saw more alleged suspisous activity last night. Just a few days after police escorted a man and women out of the MLC for alleged prostitution recruitment, UGA police was notified last night that a suspicious person had been “making two female students uncomfortable” inside the MLC. The UGA Police report states that around 11:00 PM last night, two students complained to a UGA security guard that a man in his early twenties refused to leave a MLC study room.
