Athens, GA- Many older and smaller grocery stores are forced out of business, but JC Food Store is not one of them. A giant grocery store has just opened on Old Hull Road, and JC stays in business. The owner for the past 25 years says it’s not like any other grocery store, it’s a community store. She gets the same customers everyday. The customers say they go to JC for certain items every week. This small store located on Hancock Avenue has been in business for decades. Reporter Allison Morrow steps through the door to find out what keeps it’s customers coming back, despite the increasing competition.
