Weather for Tuesday November 18, 2014

Athens, GA – You will want to have your coat with you all day today. Right now temperatures are sitting around 30 degrees. However, the wind chill factor is making it feel like close to 20 degrees.  High temperatures across Northeast Georgia will reach the upper 30’s and could possibly break the 40-degree barrier.

A few clouds will be out in the early afternoon, but they should break away to allow for more sunshine by around 3:00pm. Sunset is scheduled for 5:26 tonight, and the chilly weather should only intensify as the night goes on.

Tonight’s low will be 19 degrees, with a wind chill in the mid-teens. In fact, the National Weather Service says that Georgia could have record-breaking low temperatures tonight. So break out the layers, hats, gloves or mittens, and most importantly, stay warm!
