Georgia Wins Shootout With Tennessee

ATHENS, Ga — Georgia scored more than 40 points for a school record fifth straight time en route to a 51-44 shootout win over Tennessee. The 51 points are the most points the team has ever scored against Tennessee, and the 44 points allowed are the most this season.

For the second time in five games, both Freshman running backs rushed for more than 100 yards. Gurley rushed for 130 yards and scored three times on 24 carries. Behind two 70+ yard touchdown runs, Keith Marshall totaled 164 yards on 10 carries. The tandem of “Gurshall” combined for 34 carries, 294 yards, and five touchdowns.

On the defensive side, ILB Alec Ogletree and FS Bacarri Rambo returned to action after missing the first four games. Ogletree led the team with 14 tackles, and Rambo finished with nine tackles.
