The Athens Christian Eagles barely beat the George Walton Bulldogs yesterday.
The Eagles could have given up after falling behind by 6 runs…but the game was not over yet. The final hit in the 9th inning was made by Zach Gamber giving Jesse Thomas the chance to run it home for the Eagles.
Athens Christian Coach Allen Osborne kept his team in the moment. Osborne says he plans to keep his team’s confidence and energy up for their game tonight at 5:30 when they will face George Walton again.
