UGA Baseball in State & Famous Louisville Slugger Brand Name Is Sold

 The UGA baseball team is back in action after taking the day off yesterday.  The Dawgs are keeping it in State over the next two days, taking on the Mercer Bears this evening at 6 and Kennesaw State tomorrow at 5.

But it won’t be the Louisville Slugger the Dawgs will be swinging any more. Hillerich and Bradsby, owner of the Louisville Slugger brand, announced yesterday that it will be selling the Louisville Slugger name for seventy million dollars to its top competitor, Wilson. The deal is sceduled to pass this summer.
