Clarke Central Girls Soccer Taking Aim at Playoffs

ATHENS- The Clarke Central Lady Gladiators are one step closer to the playoffs. The team survived a thrilling over-time game against Flowery Branch last night to keep their playoff hopes alive.

It now comes down to one game. The Lady Glads must beat Heritage High School to get into the playoffs. This game was actually scheduled for two weeks ago but was delayed because of rain. Heritage is 13-7 this season but is coming off back to back losses. Clarke Central is hoping for a big turnout to cheer on the girls tonight and has made admission free to encourage people to come out. No matter the crowd, the team is ready to take the field.

The game will start at 5:30 at Clarke Central High School.
