Dawgs Show Support for Cancer Awareness Month

The UGA football team will be wearing two helmet stickers on Saturday in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Prostate cancer is the leading cause of death in American men behind lung cancer. Prostate cancer rarely occurs in men before 40.

Nearly 16,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. One out of eight children diagnosed with cancer does not survive. To learn more about each type of cancer, view some statistics below. You can also click here for prostate cancer information or here for childhood cancer information.
