Chubb Facing a New Experience

By: Chelsea Beimfohr

UGA running back Nick Chubb’s girlfriend, Laci Shaw, told Grady Newsource that Chubb never sustained an injury in high school, so this is a different experience for him.

Chubb is recovering from Saturday’s injury which includes a PCL tear along with two other torn ligaments. The recovery time for this injury is easier than an ACL tear and is not career ending.

Chubb will undergo surgery once the swelling goes down and physical therapy will follow, according to team trainer Ron Courson. Chubb is receiving an overwhleming amount of support from the team and especially the offensive unit.
