Georgia Escapes With Win Over Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Kentucky — There’s a new name atop the list of most touchdowns thrown in the history of Georgia football. Quarterback Aaron Murray threw four touchdown passes in Georgia’s 29-24 win over Kentucky to pass David Greene and become the all-time leader in touchdown passes.

Murray now has 75 touchdowns, which surpasses David Greene, who threw 72. On the record setting night Murray set career highs with 30 completions on 38 attempts and 427 passing yards.

WR Tavarres King led the team with 188 receiving yards on nine receptions and two touchdowns. WR Malcolm Mitchell also went over 100 yards and finished with 103 yards on nine receptions. TE Arthur Lynch and WR Chris Conley also added receiving touchdowns.
