Three Clarke County restaurants were deemed “high risk”. The lowest score recorded was a 72 by a local taco shop. Public Health Athens provided the score for the Northeast health district.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Waffle House on Milledge Avenue (2034 S Milledge Ave), and Zaxby’s on Atlanta Highway all were reported as at risk with scores in the range of 70-90, out of 100.

High risk scores mean that there were one or more Critical Violations which count as 9 points each.

If a restaurant were to score below a 70, the restaurant would receive a follow-up inspection within 10 days. Fuzzy’s scored the lowest score with a 72 and will not have the follow-up inspection.
