Jaime Kaplan Calls The Dawgs

Jaime Kaplan has called the Bulldogs a time or two. However, at this year’s Relay For Life, she added a new ending.

“Go Dawgs, Beat Cancer,” Kaplan swung her fist in the air.

A world class athlete, Kaplan is no stranger to strain or injury. However, her biggest battle didn’t take place on any court. It started on April 23, 2010 and took place at Emory Hospital. Since that day, Kaplan has fought to make sure no one else has to hear the words, “you have cancer.”

The first to speak at this year’s Relay For Life, Kaplan took to the stage after a special introduction from her niece, Ellie Kaplan.
