Two UGA Sports to Keep Watch on This Year

Ugh, enough about the Tennessee game. Can we be done whining about it?

Let’s take a look at a few under-recognized University of Georgia sports that slay or are likely to slay this season.

University of Georgia Equestrian:

 

The No. 2 ranked team begins regular season competition this Friday, October 7th against its SEC rival, the 8th ranked Gamecocks in South Carolina.The six time National Champion UGA Equestrian team defeated Alabama 8-1 in its last preseason Hunt Seat exhibition competition on Sunday.

University of Georgia Hockey:

The Ice Dawgs head to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks on their turf on Friday the 7th. The Ice Dawgs have a record of 5-0 in their first outings of the season, most recently defeating South Carolina 5-3 at home on the 29th, then turning around and defeating Florida 6-2 the next day.
