- Music is bringing together different groups within the community. Last night Police Chief Scott Freeman and civil rights activist joined hands and hearts to emcee the community’s first interracial community concert.
- The Police and You: an open panel discussion regarding police brutality and race relations will be held in room 150 of the Miller Learning Center tomorrow from 6:30-8pm. Organizations like the UGA Student Government Association, UGA College Republicans, UGA Young Democrats and UGA NAACP will host a panel discussion featuring local law enforcement officers. - The American divide between communities is greater than ever. This afternoon, a community forum called “The Divided States of America” discussed how people could accomplish work despite extreme political polarization.
