Active Shooter Class Offered By Athens County Police Department

The Athens-Clarke county Police Department says the F-B-I has reported more than 200 active shooting situations in America since the year 2000.

The police department hosted two active shooter trainings today to teach people what to do if they’re involved.The class was hosted in the Athens Regional Library.  Library director Valerie Bell required her staff to attend the active shooter training session.
