Driver taken to hospital after crash
Athens, Ga (GradyNewSource.com) – Athens-Clarke County police have arrested a driver after an Athens hit-and-run Thursday evening injured a woman.
Around 7:30 p.m., the police department put out a public notice indicating they were looking for the driver, accused of fleeing of a crash on South Lumpkin Street near Green Street. The victim was treated and released from an area hospital, according to a source.
Witnesses are asked to contact authorities.
