Restaurant Scene Changes in Downtown Athens

Two of what may be your favorite restaurants have closed in Athens this summer. After 8 years of business, Farm 255, Athens’ only vegan restaurant, was bought by Broad Street Cafe. Five-Star Day, a popular brunch restaurant  on Broad Street has also closed it’s doors for good after 15 years.

While these restaurants have closed, new storefronts are popping up. Insomnia Cookies is a new face on Clayton Street. The cookie delivery service runs until 3 am. Insomnia cookies doors aren’t open yet, but they plan to open sometime next week.
