Reporter’s Notebook: Making Ends Meet As Businesses Struggle

 

Kate Ross is an undergraduate student studying journalism at Grady College, who worked part-time at Walker’s Coffee and Pub on College Avenue in downtown Athens.

Like many food service industry businesses, Walker’s shut its doors to accommodate social-distancing requirements, which limited the number of people gathering in one place.

In this photo essay for a class focused on health journalism, Ross looks at how Athenians are coping with the impact of COVID-19.
