Amazon To Open New Facility In Macon, Georgia

Amazon announced today that it is opening a new fulfillment center in Macon,Georgia. The facility will hire around 500 full-time employees when operational.

Gov. Nathan Deal commented about how Georgia is continuing its efforts to become the top national distribution hub.

“Amazon’s continued investment in our state speaks to our dedication to improve, expand and modernize Georgia’s logistics and distribution network,” Deal said in the press release.

The new Amazon facility will be over one million square-feet.
