Assault Campaign on UGA’s campus

Athens, GA – Sexual assault on college campuses is a big topic on the national stage. Today, UGA’s Vice-President of Public Affairs Tom Jackson reacted to President Obama’s recent announcement of a campaign against sexual assault on college campuses.

Jackson stated that UGA was one of the first signees on board with the campaign, and that university officials are working alongside the school’s Student Government Association to spread awareness of the issue. University of Georgia students protested against sexual assault on Friday in front of the Arch.

Mason Gepp will have the latest updates on this story – hear what the University administration and the Student Government Association have planned for raising awareness on UGA’s campus.
