Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed the Hodgson Pharmacy in Five Points and were last seen fleeing south bound on Milledge Avenue.
Today, Athens Clarke County police responded to a call about an armed robbery at the Hodgson Pharmacy in Five Points.
Two masked men entered the store and the two walked to the cashier demanding the cashier to hand over oxycodone, percocet, and cash while one held a gun. The cashier handed over the drugs and cash.
Athens Clarke County Lieutenant Mike Tyndell said that no one was injured in the robbery, but the worker is still recovering from today’s event.
Lieutenant Tyndell says that the suspects fled south on Milledge Avenue then witnesses said that two men matching their descriptions were seen getting in to a vehicle on Milledge Terrace.
