Complaint Made Against UGA Football Player

The University of Georgia’s Sports Information Director responded to a complaint against one of the school’s football players. Claude Felton said, “We are aware of the incident and incident report.” Felton was referencing an Athens- Clarke County  incident report where a police officer wrote that he responded to a call at a local restaurant on 9/28/15 in reference to terroristic threats. The officer noted in the report that a woman stated that Isaiah McKenzie threatened her. No charges have been filed.

Felton added that UGA Football Coach Mark Richt is “…gathering information on the matter, and he’ll respond in the appropriate way and manner if necessary.”
