ATHENS, GA- Stores in Athens may be a little less crowded today, but that doesn’t mean their websites won’t be busy. Several stores including the Red Dress Boutique and Cheeky Peach hope to attract customers through Cyber Monday sales.

The Red Dress Boutique, known for its online presence, says it had huge Black Friday sales and is hoping to have an even bigger day today. Last Friday the store had 500 times the sales as it did last year on Black Friday.

Today, the store put and additional 150 items online, marked down to anywhere from 5 to 20 dollars.  They restocked sixty items at midnight to gear up for the rush of online shoppers today. Red Dress Boutique retail workers said they are looking forward to seeing today’s sales.
