DEVELOPING STORY: Pedestrian Killed


Athens, GA-

*Update*- The victim in this accident that happened Saturday morning around 2:20 A.M. has been identified as Santricia Monicia Barrow. The continuing investigation revealed that the 28-year-old female was crossing Commerce Road from east to west at the Newton Bridge Road intersection. According to the police report, she ran into the path of a south bound 1998 Ford Ranger. The investigation continues, stay tuned for the latest information.

Early saturday morning a pedestrian was struck and killed on the side of Commerce Road. Athens-Clarke County Police are currently investigating this story. Reporter Brian Garcia is in contact with the pedestrian’s aunt. We will keep you updated as the story develops.
