Fundraising for AthFest 2014 Begins

Fundraising for one of Athens’ most popular music festivals is already underway. AthFest 2013 was a huge success and Terrapin Beer Company is helping to make next year’s event even bigger with a percentage night. Tomorrow at 5:30– the brewery will have live music and these custom pint glasses for twelve dollars.

Event Coordinator Jessica Merritt says,”We’re just putting that logo in people’s faces. Getting them to think about AthFest, to talk to their friends about it. And just to get amped up for next summer. Again, they’re already planning AthFest. The dates haven’t come out, so this is just part of the planning to help them raise money.”

Twenty percent of all sales will benefit AthFest. Following their biggest month ever, Terrapin Beer Company hopes to keep sales up as students return to Athens.
