Athens, GA- The Athens Area Homeless Shelter is doing more than just keeping a roof above their residents’ heads this winter. The local shelter is holding their eleventh annual Harvest for the Homeless fundraiser this Friday night. This shelter houses mothers and children, but goes beyond their regular services. They’re calling on the community to help them go the extra mile for these women.
