Residents at Athens Apartments Report Mail Tampering

Athens- Multiple Athens Apartment owners have found their mail or packages ripped, torn and contents missing. While the reason behind these destructions remains unclear, a Postal Service employee did not know his company policy when one of these mail owners went to report a mail tampering. Communication Program Specialist told me It’s US Postal service policy to record down all mail tamperings or contents missing, and then recommend all people to contact the USPS OIG hotline at 1­888­-877-­7644.
