While the Georgia football team has its bye this week, there is still news being made. Head coach Mark Richt addressed the health of Jordan Jenkins and Isaiah McKenzie, who both missed the Missouri game. Richt also provided the latest on Nick Chubb as he recovers from his knee injury.
Chubb has not yet had surgery on his left leg, as the swelling has still not subsided in his knee. Richt did say that the surgery would happen “in the next week or so” and that Chubb could travel with the team to the Auburn and Georgia Tech games. He will not travel with the team to the Florida game.
Jenkins is tied for the team lead in sacks despite the fact he missed the second half of the game against Tennessee and the entire Missouri game due to a hip flexor strain. Isaiah McKenzie missed both the Tennessee and Missouri games due to a hamstring injury.
Georgia is scheduled to play Florida on Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
