High school basketball is in the tail-end of its playoff season. Athen’s Monsignor Donovan is in its second consecutive Georgia Independent School Association’s Class double A state semifinals. This comes after the team’s 14-point victory over Convington’s Grace Christian Academy. They will face First Pesbyterian Prep of Hinesville at Mercer University at 4 p.m. on Friday.
