Oconee County, GA-  A local sheriff’s department is writing letters to local children from Santa Claus. Oconee County Sherriff Scott Berry says he thought of this idea. He wants to protect the community against holiday scams. He says Georgia scammers were charging 20 dollars for a Santa Letter then stealing the person’s identity from the credit card.
