Police Charge Watkinsville Man With Tinsley Death

Georgia State patrol says a Watkinsville man was charged today in the death of a UGA professor. Karen Tinsley was riding her bike in Oconee County when she was struck by a truck.

55-year-old Richard Poulnott is charged with:

driving with an expired license
second-degree vehicular homicide
following too closely
and driving too fast for conditions.

Charges have been filed and taken out via warrant.
