UGA Announces Homecoming Week 2016 Events

The University of Georgia released a schedule of events for the 94th annual Homecoming Week.  This year’s events range from lip sync contest to annual parade and carnival.

Monday, October 10: Head to Tate Plaza from 9am-3pm for the Bulldog Bash.  There will be free food, prizes and a chance to dunk members of the 2016 Homecoming Court.
Tuesday, October 11:  Watch Grammy-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE perform at Stegeman Coliseum at 8pm.  Tickets are $8 for students at $15 for non-students. 
Wednesday, October 12: From 10am-2pm at Tate Plaza, you can Stop&Serve to make a difference and give back.
Thursday, October 13: Come watch organizations compete against each other in a lip sync battle at 7pm at Tate Grand Hall.
Friday, October 14: The annual homecoming parade will be at 6pm in downtown Athens on Clayton St.  Afterwards, head over to Legion Field for the carnival from 7pm-11pm.  There will be rides, food and other activities, 
Saturday, October 15: The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the UGA vs. Vanderbilt football game.  The game is set to kick off at 12pm at Sanford Stadium.
