Athens, GA–The Georgia Bulldogs Men and Women’s tennis teams are gearing up for a busy weekend. Both squads will host their own tournaments in Athens beginning Friday. The men’s team will host the Southern Intercollegiate Tournament at the Dan Magill Complex on the University of Georgia campus.
Last year, the Bulldogs won the Division One final in singles and doubles at the Southern Intercollegiates. Four men’s players are currently ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s preseason rankings for singles:
#17- Wayne Montgomery
#41- Paul Oosterbaan
#81- Walker Duncan
#109- Emil Reinberg
They hope to build on their position on Friday and take home the final again on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs will host the Georgia Bulldogs Classic Tournament at Athens Country Club. The Lady Bulldogs will come into the match with three players ranked in the ITA top 25:

#21- Caroline Brinson
The Georgia Bulldog Classic tournament final will take place on Sunday.
