UPDATE: New Women’s Basketball Head Coach Speaks at Press Conference

ATHENS — University of Georgia women’s basketball has a new leader for the first time in 36 years.

Assisant coach Joni Crenshaw was promoted to head coach over the weekend after longtime coaching legend Andy Landers stepped down last month.

Crenshaw has worked with college basketball programs for 13 years, and she’s been with the Bulldogs for the last four. She says she’s “extremely honored” to be the next head coach at Georgia.
