  • Halloween “Spooktacular” Carnival
    • Location: Lay Park, Athens
    • Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    • Fee: $3 ACC resident, $5 non-resident
    • Halloween-themed games, a costume contest, and candy.
  • East Athens Halloween Carnival
    • Location: East Athens Community Center
    • Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
    • Fee: $3 ACC resident, $5 non-resident
    • Contests, games, face painting, and crafts.

Wednesday, October 28

  • Trunk or Treat
    • Location: Baxter Street Police Substation, Athens
    • Time: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
    • Fee: FREE
  • One Spooky Night
    • Location- ACC Library
    • Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m.
    • Fee: FREE
    • Put on your favorite costume and head to the library for a night of stories, puppet shows, crafts, and trick-or-treating.

Thursday, October 29

  • Halloween Carnival & Boo! at the Zoo
    • Location: Memorial Park
    • Time: 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    • Fee: $5 per child
    • Trick-or-treat at Bear Hollow Zoo, then carnival at Memorial Park.
  • Haunted Happy Hour Tour
    • Location: Starts at Athens Welcome Center, ends at Creature Comforts Brewery
    • Time: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
    • Fee: $15 per person
    • Explore the spooks of the Classic City.
  • Scary Tales Haunted House
    • Location: Oconee County Library
    • Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    • Fee: FREE
    • Haunted house created by teens for families in Oconee County.

Friday, October 30

  • Haunted History Ghost Walk
    • Location: 285 South Main St., Madison
    • Time: Tours begin at 7:30
    • Fee: $15 per person
    • Not recommended for children under 12.
