WINTER STORM WARNING

 

A Winter Storm Warning has been released for North Central Georgia by the National Weather Service. You can expect snowfall up to two inches and around half an inch of sleet. Snow is expected to develop Tuesday mid-morning through the night and sleet will start to mix in Tuesday evening. The heaviest precipitation is expected late Tuesday afternoon and evening. NWS warns roadways will be difficult, or impossible, beginning Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Light icing will make sidewalks dangerous. Temperatures will vary between the upper teens and the mid-30s.
