Watkinsville, GA – The Oconee County Library is making the cost of Halloween a little less scary by collecting used costumes for their costume swap on October 11. Athens, GA – The 2014 Buddy Christian Memorial 5k is being held this Saturday to help raise money for the Buddy Christian Foundation. The foundation was started in honor of Athens Police Officer Buddy Christian, who was shot and killed by Jamie Hood.  Reporter Ashley Rosenberg has more on how the 5k will raise money to support families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.
