SOCIAL MEDIA: Viewers react to football autograph scandals

Controversial Florida State quarterback, Jameis Winston, is now being investigated for signing over more than 900 autographs for the same company UGA running back, Todd Gurley, signed his autographs for. Right now, the NCAA is not involved but Florida State’s compliance is investigating if money was exchanged. Jameis says he is innocent. He has not been suspended. Meanwhile, Gurley is suspended indefinitely.

Grady Newsource went to social to media to get reactions from our own viewers and football fans.  Many were upset by how Gurley was suspended immediately compared to Winston.  Some Facebook users went as far as blaming Mark Richt for covering his image and the NCAA for suspending two of the best players in college football.

Winston’s investigation is a precaution, but he has a disciplinary hearing later this week that could give him a later suspension. As for Gurley, stay tuned throughout this week to Grady Newsource for all the updates on his invesitgation.
