No Todd, No Problem

Athens, GA – Georgia running back Nick Chubb is only a freshman. But he has already built a sturdy resumé since bouncing onto the scene for the Bulldogs. He has started four games. In that span, Chubb has amassed over 1,000 yards and many conference accolades. Chubb is also the second-leading rusher in the SEC. It seems that UGA is ready to move on without their star player, Todd Gurley. The one-time Heisman hopeful tore his ACL Saturday against Auburn, ruling him out for the rest of the season.

The offense says they do not have a problem relying on Chubb. They have done it before. In fact, the Bulldogs went 3-1 with Chubb as the featured back. The team agrees that though Chubb may not be the loudest player on the team, he leads with his feet.

Georgia (8-2, 6-2) faces Big South Conference opponent Charleston Southern this Saturday.
