The husband of an Auburn daycare owner was arrested on various child molestation offenses last Friday March 20, 2015. Richard Paltrineri, 64, is the husband of Susan Paltrineri, the owner of SusanSilly Expressions Pre-School Program. According to a Barrow County Sheriff’s Office press release from earlier today, Paltrineri is currently charged with multiple counts of child molestation, sexual battery, and cruelty to children. He is also facing one count of aggravated sodomy and one count of aggravated child molestation. Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith says he has confessed to all charges.
So far, police say six children have been identified as victims. The victims are both boys and girls. The children are between ages two and five years old.
The investigation is still ongoing. Their investigation began when a child who attended the day care told his parents, and a search of the daycare was done later that day.
