The Movember Foundation is making a mustache movement throughout the month of November as part of its global charity to raise awareness for men to live longer and happier lives. Year-round, the group partners with men’s health organizations to teach men about the biggest health issues that are currently facing them.

According to its site, the four health issues are:

  • Prostate Cancer: second most common cancer in men in the U.S.
  • Testicular Cancer: most common cancer in young men aged 15-34 in the U.S.
  • Poor Mental Health: one in four adults in the U.S. will experience a mental health problem in a given year
  • Physical Inactivity: around half of American men meet the federal guidelines for physical activity

As part of its campaign, the group encourages men and women to grow a mustache for 30 days, starting November 1st. If you would like more information or would like to become a part of its more than five million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, visit the website at this link.
