Stories to watch: Nov. 19

  • Protest at the arch- A silent protest will be held tonight at 5 p.m. by the Arab Cultural Association and Christians United for Palestine. It is a march that will start at Tate Plaza and end at the arch. The groups will protest Governor Nathan Deal’s announcement to refuse all Syrian refugees’ entry and resettlement in the state of Georgia. Reporter Mary Grace Shaw will be at the protest tonight at 5 p.m.
  • Deadly crash- One high schooler is dead and one is in the hospital after a crash last night in Jackson County. Reporter Adriana Vicuna will have more on the cause of the crash and updated conditions on the student that was hospitalized.
  • Weather- The rain is gone and sunny skies are here to stay. Reporter Janai James will have your local North Georgia weather forecast at 5 p.m.
  • Sports- The University of Georgia will wrap up this season’s home games this weekend during a match up against Ga. Southern. Reporter Savannah Wilson talked to the Eagles’ head coach about his feelings towards the game Saturday.
