Photo Gallery: Scenes from South Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Hundreds of thousands of spectators gathered for South Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The parade started in at Andrew Square and moved through South Boston, featuring marching bands, Irish themed floats and local community groups parading through the streets.

Emily Laycock, a journalism major in the introduction to photojournalism class at Grady College, documented the parade.
