Two individuals are currently booked at the Jackson County Jail after being arrested on Highway 330 near Tallassee Road when drug paraphernalia, two weapons and approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine were located in their car.

On February 8, 2016 deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff`s Office working with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team (ACE), conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 330. During the stop, drug paraphernalia, two weapons and approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine were located.

Clint Neal Gholden and Kelsey Mahoney, both from Winder Georgia, were arrested.

Gholden was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

Mahoney was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement.

Jackson County’s Sheriff Magnum said in an email to Grady Newsource today that she does not know the relationship between the two individuals and that both are currently booked in the Jackson County Jail.
