Gang Violence Not Tied to Location

According to Sergeant Maleug of the Athens Clarke-County Police Department, gang violence in Athens can’t be pinned down to certain neighborhoods or crime hot spots.

Sergeant Maleug says that one thing the department knows about gang members is that they don’t always stay in the same place.

“Sometimes they’re hard to find because they’re constantly moving from one place to another.”

More from this interview and story tonight at 5.
