WINDER, Ga.–For many special needs children, they may never know what it’s like to compete in Little League baseball, Pee Wee football, or even a soccer match.  But as society says no, one local educator says yes.  Reporter Brett Homer found out how one P.E. teacher is spreading her love of sports to those who need it the most.

During her 10 years at Barrow County, Susan Mullis is credited for building up The Barrow County Special Olympics to what it is today, started a Special Olympics soccer team that competes at the state games, and has organized a charity kickball tournament to help fund the local Special Olympics.
