Two votes…changed Dan Matthews political life. Dan Matthews defeated Mark Melvin in the run off election for the Post five seat yesterday.
This was Matthews’ fourth attempt to secure a seat on the Council. He says his goals for the city consist of simple improvements.

Matthews will join the Watkinsville City Council in January.
