University System of Georgia Issues Statement on KSU

The University System of Georgia (USG) is looking into how Kennesaw State University responded to university cheerleaders kneeling at a football game.

The USG released this one-sentence statement Wednesday afternoon:

“The University System of Georgia is conducting a special review to look into recent allegations raised about athletic processes at Kennesaw State University.”

Five African-American cheerleaders knelt during the national anthem on September 30.
